About Me:

Robert Moore has been a school teacher, school administrator, musician, counsellor, and a celebrant in recent years.

Robert was founding Director of Music at The Southport School where he worked from 1969 until 1989. In 1988, his work in Music Education was recognised with the award of a Fulbright Educational Scholarship, which involved further study in the United States of America.

Working as a Celebrant since 1995, Robert believes that the wedding ceremony must reflect the values of the couple, and project the mood, atmosphere, and ethos they want.

In other words, the content and style (formal, semi-formal, or relaxed) of the ceremony should be determined by the couple, and the celebrant’s role is to facilitate their wishes.

More recently, (2005) Robert was given by award a Diploma of Marriage Celebrancy by The International College of Celebrancy based in Melbourne.

The citation on the Diploma says of Robert’s Award:

To recognise above average ability in the delivery of Rites of Passage, for his contribution to the intelligent understanding of the celebrant challenge, for his support to good initiatives in celebrant organisations, and his studied contribution to the progress of celebrancy.

Fees . . .

My fees are moderate, and are inclusive.

So unless you want any of the non-essential additional options listed in my brochure, (including the Registered Certificate of Marriage which is an optional extra for all weddings), there are no further costs.

What to do next . . .

The most important thing to do, if you want to go ahead, is to confirm your booking (if you have made one).

Always ring me first to book and confirm the time and date of your ceremony.

But we live a long way from the Gold Coast . . .

Distance weddings are no problem! We can organise your whole wedding by e-mail or snail-mail . . . and, of course, phone calls are now very inexpensive.
